Fal-Morcham is one of the great noble houses of Akaryth, and since 1446 AS, the royal house of the kingdom. Its line is ancient and noble, extending far back through the kingdom's history, and arising ultimately from a lesser line within the lost House Alayre of Sengral.
The traditional lands of Fal-Morcham straddle the border between Avinyar and Maleceny, that is, the East and the South. While the king and his House now possess lands far beyond the ones they once held, their ancestral holdings remain symbolically and emotionally dear.
